I know I said I wasn't going to post, but this is important to me. I have decided to create an online website for ordering Close To My Heart products. I love the acrylic stamps, and the many, many colors of stamp pads, besides all the kits and papers and ideas, etc!
So to the left will be a permanent link to order products, you can have them shipped directly to your address, and make help me out with sales, (I won't lie, I will make a little off what you order, but I actually want the sales to maintain my consultant status so I can buy what I want!)
Close To My Heart
Thanks for helping out, I know you're gonna love the products! I do!

Taking a break...
Just to let everyone know, I have taken a break from posting on my blog and other message boards. I have personal reasons for closing down and I intend to remain that way for longer. I choose not to disclose the reason.
I will say that I am enjoying spending time with my family, and I am having a great time creating the newsletter and updating the blog of the Scrappery. I was thrilled to volunteer to work at the Scrappery for the John Reed Crop yesterday. I had such a great time with everyone who attended and there were a lot of new customers that came in to shop. Diane has to place orders cause we sold a lot!
Back to the blogging/message board issue, I don't know when I will go back to posting regularly. Just know I am healthly and not dealing with any illness, neither is anyone in my family. This is personal, and it's something I am choosing to do for me. I will try to continue to check in with peoples blogs, I hope everyone is doing well.
Thanks for the understanding,
Brenda

Tucking in kids...
I loved tucking my kids into bed. I can't do it too much anymore cause they are teenagers and out past my bedtime.
Last night Casey fell asleep on top of her covers, so I tucked her in. Abby loves Casey and protects her, she used to bark incessantly anytime someone was in Caseys room. Now she just jumps up on Caseys bed and lays beside her, really really close beside her! I was trying to get Casey under the covers (all 5 foot 6 inches of her) and Abby was next to her. SO I put Abby on her chair (its a papason). Two seconds later she was back next to Casey. I put her on her chair again. And again she is snuggling up to Casey. FINE! So here is the result of my late night tucking in...
I had to use my cell phone to take the pictures, you know when you go to get the camera the moments like these are lost.

My little neighbor girl
The little neighbor girl who lives next door is so adorable! She lives with her Grandpa right now, and will until the first week of December. Then the courts decide where she is going to go. I'm hoping she stays with Grandpa cause he is such an amazing grandparent! He has given up so much to take care of her.
She loves to look over the fence at our dogs, she calls them Gar Gar's. She loves to be with my daughters. This is one of the photos taken with Brandi!

Challenge Club
So in challenge club, Debbi challenged us to create a layout using bubble wrap and paint. Not so hard, it's paint, I love paint!
Then I went to Debbis house for her birthday, we were scrapping away. She pulls out her tin of flowers and looks at some of them like, "What was I thinking? Why did I buy these?" I opened my mouth and said, I like them, you just need the right color papers. (This went over really well, not!) She says, "I never use colors like this" I again don't keep my mouth shut, (go figure), and I tell her I can use this on my challenge page, (shut up Brenda!)
Then, cause it's her birthday, I grab a couple of the cupcake liners (the outer metal ones) and think I should add this too, just to prove something.
So here it is. The end result of Debbi's class challenge, and the add on challenges of the flower and cup cake liner.
Here's a close up of the flower. The crocheted one is from my stash, the layer below that is the cupcake liner with some paint, and the "ugly" colored flower Deb doesn't know why she bought it!

Hey, it's a weekend!
I am so glad it's a long weekend, it's Sunday afternoon right now and I still have a whole day to go! What a great feeling!!!
Check out something cool my daughter Casey did in Hawaii this last week:
She met the actual "Jack" in the Box actor. There are a ton more photos from her trip. Can't wait to help her scrapbook them! (Okay, I'll scrapbook them, she'll post them to her "myspace" account for all her friends to see!)
I'll post again when I get the chance! Just having a great weekend!
